Soil PH

Here we discus the role of soil PH in the productivity of a pond.Soil is a very critical factor affecting the productivity of the soil.

In anaerobic condition the ph Products does not decompose and the presences of the short chain fatty acid make the soil acidic. In acidic condition essential nutrients does not decompose and it also increase the adsorption  of the nutrients with the soil .That’s why slightly alkaline soil is best to use.

Because the availability of the nutrients decide the quality of the pond.
